The BASIC Stamp
is commonly used in industrial applications requiring high-voltage
control, closed-loop PID systems and environments with vibration and wide
temperature ranges. The reliability of a BASIC Stamp in an industrial use
depends on the redundancy designed into the system, the engineering
approval standards applied to the design, and the tests conducted to
ensure the code was properly debugged.

The Stamp
PLC is a Program Logic Controller that is perfectly
sized (and priced) for automating small machines. Specified by
Parallax, Inc. the Stamp PLC was designed by Lawicel HB of
Sweden. Parallax and Lawicel have combined their expertise to
deliver a PLC that represents the next stage of evolution in the
small-scale PLC market. A 24-pin BASIC Stamp or Javelin Stamp is
required (sold separately).
BS2
16-relay Industrial I/O Board -
This board was designed for use in industrial machinery as a
main controller, or as a controller to add features to a
machine. This board will support all 24-pin BASIC Stamp modules
such as the BS2, BS2e, BS2sx, and the BS2p24. This board may be
used to control industrial processes, or equipment functions,
without having to learn ladder logic.
BS2p40
32-relay Industrial I/O Board -
The BSIO32ex module was designed for use in Industrial Machinery
as a main controller, or as a controller to add features to a
machine. Standard 24-volt DC power is used for both for input
sensor and output load devices. This board will support only the
BASIC Stamp BS2p40. This board may be used to control Industrial
Processes, or equipment functions, without having to learn
ladder logic.
Stamp
Controller Interface Board - Allows the BASIC Stamp to
connect directly to industrial type digital I/O control boards
produced by Opto22, Grayhill, Allen-Bradley, and others that
accept 0-5 VDC voltage control levels. These optically isolated
modules are ideal for interfacing microcontrollers to the real
world, and are more reliable by providing proper
