DESCRIPTION: If you're ready to
play some Windows *.wav files from your QV306M4P, or if you want
to put some additional words or files (Quadravox has over 1,000
available for download) into the QV306M4P module you'll need the
QV430P programmer. Here is how it works: Place QV306M4P into
QV430P cradle. Connect QV306M4P to serial port, 12V power supply
(see below), your sound card (cable not included) and speaker (not
included). Run Quadravox Windows software (included). Select the
*.wav files and add them to a list. Download the *.wav files. Play
them back with the BASIC Stamp using SEROUT command. Note that you
will need a mini-jack cable to connect the QV430P to your PC's
sound card headphone jack or speaker out jack (Radio Shack
#42-2420A at $2.49) as well as a mini-jack for your speaker (Radio
Shack #274-287A at $1.99 plus some 24 gauge speaker wire). The 12V
1A 2.1 mm center-positive power supply is available from Parallax,
also separately.
