For additional
details on where your vehicle's been and how it's been driven, the trips
covered, locations, starts and stops, add our GPS Module to any of our DriveRight
600 models.
With the GPS
module, you can see latitude, longitude, and current heading right on the
DriveRight 600 display console, helping you pinpoint your exact location
at any time.
Choose a
location sampling interval from 5 seconds to 10 minutes. At a one-minute
interval, you'll be able to log up to 44 hours of GPS data.
Then, download
the data along with the data on speed, time, distance, and driving
performance collected by the DriveRight 600 to our Fleet
Management Software. Export it to a GPS mapping program such as
Microsoft's MapPoint or Streets and Trips (not included),
and you'll be able to create a map of the route taken as well as the
location of each start and stop.
Since you'll
have data on speed as well as location, you'll be able to judge whether or
not your driver was driving appropriately for each roadway. In the case of
an accident, you'll be able to see the exact location. And, if you've
chosen to monitor the vehicle's brake lights using one of DriveRight's
digital inputs, you'll know if and when the driver applied the brakes.
