Testers and Simulators for: Driveright and V-count II
DriveRight and V-Count II Testers and Simulators
The DR/TM Tester, ELECTRO-SIM, and the DPR are Davis' DriveRight data simulators designed and manufactured by APEXS, Inc. to demonstrate the different functions and features of the DriveRight. The first two products mentioned facilitate the actual use of the DriveRight operation without installing it into a vehicle or using a computer to demonstrate/simulate its use. You can set the limits and other settings of the DriveRight manually first (without using a PC), then do the test-drive simulation by varying its speed and doing acceleration and deceleration (accident log) simulations with the use of the DR/TM Tester or the ELECTRO-SIM.
The default speed range of the two simulators are not fixed and are functions of the calibration settings of each DriveRight that it is connected to. By calibrating the DriveRight to either of the two simulators, it is possible to simulate a wide range of high and low speeds as well as distance traveled.
The DR/TM Tester is also designed to produce simulated data for testing the GPS based Tripmaster® Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) and Tracking System.
One set of DR/TM Tester:
1 unit DR/TM Tester
1 unit Power Supply
1 unit Cigarette Lighter Plug
1 Set of User's Manual
Lead time: 5 working days

Product No: electrosim
Electrosim facilitates the actual use of the DriveRight or the V-Count without installing it into a vehicle or using a computer to demonstrate/simulate its use. Best for testing or troubleshooting a DriveRight or V-Count unit.
The DPR generates pulses to simulate Vehicle Speed Signal (VSS) at 40 km/hr (25mph) at four (4) different selectable pulses per mile (PPM).
The DPR serves as the reference VSS pulse generator that verifies proper calibration and function of the DriveRight when used with a VSS installation type.
