When used with the Weather Monitor II, it replaces the external temperature sensor included with the station.

   Comes with 40' (12 m) standard cable. Use Standard 6-Conductor Extension Cable.
Maximum cable length length is 300' (91m) from sensor to console including junction
box cable.
