Weather Sensors

SENSORS

Sensors are available in two versions: one for our Vantage Pro and Pro2 line, and one for our original line of weather stations. Make sure you select the proper sensor for your station—they are not interchangeable.

Sensors feature 26-gauge (0.12 mm2) cable. Quick and easy plug-in cable connections use modular RJ connectors like those found on your telephone.

 + Leaf Wetness Sensor use to monitor the level of surface moisture on foliage.

 + Soil Moisture Sensor. Watermark® soil moisture sensor uses electrical resistance to measure the moisture level of the soil.

 + Solar Radiation Sensor measures solar radiation and is required (along with an anemometer and a temperature/humidity sensor) if you wish to monitor evapotranspiration.

 + Stainless Steel Temperature Probe use to measure temperature of air, soil, or water.

 + UV Sensor measures the sunburning portion of the UV spectrum. Allows you to display UV index, dose rate, and daily and accumulated dose.

  
 + Anemometer is used to display wind direction and wind speed, add our precision-crafted Anemometer. Includes both wind speed and wind direction sensors.

 + Rain Collector rain collector can be user-calibrated for 0.01" or 0.2mm.

 + Temperature Sensor used to measure air, soil, or water temperature.

 + Temperature/Humidity Sensor measures outside temperature, relative humidity, and dew point.
