    What's new in 5.9.2

1. Fixed the APRS data transfer when using Vantage Pro2 firmware version 1.90.
2. Fixed slow internet transfer issue introduced in WeatherLink version 5.9.1.
3. Corrected the unit label for "In Air Density" in the "Plot" screen, if it is set to "kg/cu m"

    What's new in 5.9.1

1. Increased effectiveness in detecting a USB driver dropout. Driver will be restarted automatically and a note will be put into the View Log fie.
2. Increased a timeout value to ensure High/Low data is received before uploading to CWOP or a personal website. Eliminates the “Data read error” when performing these uploads.
3. Fixed Open Plot problem introduced in 5.9.0.
4. Air density unit can now be set to “kg/cu m” or “lb/cu.ft”.
5. Streaming Data Utility updated with a new field of "Max Effective Rain Total".
6. Changed default values in Streaming Data Utility.
7. .NET is not included in this web download. If needed, installation will download it from Microsoft.

    What's new in 5.9.0

1. The Vantage Vue weather station is supported in this software version.
2. Fixes USB driver dropout issue. If a dropout is detected the driver is reloaded and a remark is added to the log file.
3. “Expansion_Modules” folder will now be created automatically regardless of whether you have installed any expansion modules.
4. Wind Direction calibration can now be done via software.
5. Informational dialog boxes are suppressed when WeatherLink is minimized; if a screen saver has been activated or if the Bulletin, Strip charts and Plot, are running.
6. Added the ability to set the units that the console displays as well as what the software displays.
7. “Readme.wri” has been converted to “Readme.rtf” file.
8. Web download Password may contain special characters. These characters include: “!”, “*”, “\”, “(“, “)”, “;”, “@”, “&”, “=”, “+”, “$”,”,”, “/”, “?”, “%”, “#”, “[“, “]”.
9. Web download time out has been lengthened from 30 seconds to 60 seconds.
10. “Show indoor data only” mode is available for any Vantage console. This mode mimics the software interface for a Perception weather station and includes EMC and Air Density.
11. Upon entering the “Set Transceiver” screen, the software will check for model mismatch between hardware and software configuration.
12. Right clicking in the Bulletin now opens the Summary screen.
13. Now stations that are stored outside the WeatherLink directory can be renamed
14. Fixed the bug that causes the software, when using a dial-up modem connection, to dial the modem when you exit the software.
15. Fixed a bug that displayed, in the Sunrise/Sunset report, 60 minutes instead of the following hour. E.g. 5:60a will now read 6:00a
16. Wind Run nautical mile unit now displays as “n mi” instead of “knots”.

    Version 5.8.2 Features
    1. Fixes a critical bug that prevented proper USB driver installation.
    2. Updates all USB virtual COM drivers to version 5.3.

    1. A problem was corrected that was related to using a direct USB driver with Vista.
    2. A problem was corrected that was related to a CRC error occurring during direct USB communication.
    3. A template file was fixed so that it now reflects the correct leaf temperature.
    4. The UV Dose reading on the Daily Summary screen was corrected.
    5. The following USB driver .dll files have been updated: CP210xManufacturing.dll, SiUSBXp.dll
    6. A problem was corrected that was causing WeatherLink to crash when a user added a note to the     browsed data.

     Version 5.8.0 Features
    1. Support has been added for the new WeatherLinkIP data logger (#6555).
    2. The Communications Port dialog now supports both a direct USB connection and multiple connection     methods for WeatherLinkIP.
    3. The Station Walkthrough has been modified to accommodate the addition of a web station.

    Version5.8.0 Bugs Fixed
    1. WeatherLink will not crash if it cannot access database files over a network.

     Important Note: WeatherLink now installs, by default, under "Program Files." After upgrading,
    you may have to move your data folder to the new installations location.
